Back in 2012, my #1 Australian best-seller, Bella's Run hit the bookshelves. It was my debut novel, the book I'd conceived as a 12 year old, and subconsciously worked on throughout my twenties and thirties. Published with Penguin Random House, Bella's Run was the start of publishing career which now produced, at last count, seven novels, five in print (Bella's Run, Hope's Road, Mountain Ash, Rose River & Lake Hill) and the other two (A Bush Christmas & The Cowboy) available online.
My books are about love and life in the bush. You will laugh, you will cry, and I hope after you read the last word, some of the characters will live on in your hearts and minds for a while. In my own experience, that's the sign of a book well read.
The stories revolve around the resilience of people in the bush and rural life in Australia. They’re about life and love, about tragedies and celebrations, about laughter and the everyday experiences that happen to people like you and me – they’re about life as I know it.
