Ashes of the Firefighters

Anybody who lives in the bush has a special place in their hearts for the firies (even those of us in the ranks who know only too well what sacrifices are made), so I was really pleased when Vivien Thomson got in touch to mention her book "Ashes of the Firefighters". It documents the journey of nine people after experiencing a major bushfire event, and is one of those books on my Must Read list (which is a long list to my great regret).
